Michael's first collection of short stories consists of sixteen stories, including seven which have won awards in the Idaho Writers' League annual writing contests. From juvenile to science fiction, Michael presents a variety of stories to entertain readers. This first collection was originally published in 2000 and is 70 pages long.
In his second collection of short stories, Michael includes five of his Little Devil stories and nine other stories. Three of these stories won awards in the Idaho Writers' League annual writing contests. This 66 page collection was published in 2002.
